Acceptance Of Terms

By inviting Project Nexus to a server, using its commands, or accessing this website, you agree to these terms. If you're adding Project Nexus on behalf of a server, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

Description Of Service

Project Nexus is a Discord bot, operated by Facture through the Discord API, built around a shared database of confirmed bad actors. Server members and owners can use /check to look up a user's risk level, known alts, associated servers, flag reason, and linked Roblox accounts. /report lets you submit a report with evidence for staff to review, and /appeal lets a flagged user dispute a record. Nexus works both as a server bot and as a user app you can use in your own DMs and group chats. Features and commands may change, be added, or be removed over time.

Eligibility

Use of Project Nexus requires compliance with Discord's own Terms of Service and minimum age requirements. Server administrators are responsible for confirming they have the authority to add and configure the bot in their server.

Reports And The Nexus Database

Submitting a report through /report means affirming the information and evidence you provide is accurate and genuinely yours to share. Our staff review every report and its evidence before any record is added to the database, no one is added automatically. Submitting a false, fabricated, or misleading report, or evidence you don't have the right to share, is a violation of these terms.

Consequence: Loss of access to Nexus's reporting features, and the report itself will be disregarded.

Appeals

A user who believes they were flagged in error can dispute the record through /appeal by explaining their side and providing evidence. Staff review every appeal and deliver their decision by DM. Submitting repeated bad-faith appeals with no new information may result in that user's appeal access being limited.

Acceptable Use

Project Nexus may not be used for any illegal purpose, to harass or threaten others, to abuse /check or the database to target someone without cause, to violate another person's rights, to circumvent Discord's policies, or to interfere with or abuse the bot's operation, including through exploits or excessive automated requests.

Consequence: Access to Project Nexus may be suspended or removed from a server at our discretion, without notice.

Server Administrator Responsibilities

Administrators are responsible for configuring Project Nexus's features appropriately for their server and ensuring their use of the bot complies with applicable law in their jurisdiction, as well as Discord's own Terms of Service and Developer Policy.

Legal Compliance

Project Nexus is operated in compliance with all applicable laws and Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. It requests no privileged intents and only 4 basic Discord permissions, and does not read message content, track activity, or scrape member lists. We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement and will take action, including suspending or terminating access, against unlawful use of the bot.

Service Availability

Project Nexus is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.

Limitation Of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Facture is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, Project Nexus.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate a server's or user's access to Project Nexus at any time, for any violation of these terms or Discord's own policies, without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

The Project Nexus name, logo, and branding belong to Facture. You may not use them to represent your own product or service without permission.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted here, and continued use of Project Nexus after a change means you accept the update.
